Dig In to the Bible

  • Read: Jeremiah 1:4-19
  • In This Passage: God tells Jeremiah he chose him to be a prophet. God says he knew Jeremiah would be a prophet before Jeremiah was even created! Jeremiah is worried he can’t do the job, but God knows he can because God knows who we really are. He sees the potential in us to do big things!
  • Bible Point: God knows who we really are.
  • Summary Verse: “O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me” (Psalm 139:1).

  • God knows who we really are. This lesson is all about the potential God sees in us. Some kids may feel like there’s not much they can do for God—especially as kids. Use this lesson to encourage your child that God sees so much potential in them!
