- In This Passage:Jesus’ followers are meeting together when all of a sudden, a sound like a mighty windstorm fills their meeting room! Then flames appear over their heads. After that, the Holy Spirit gives everyone the ability to speak in other languages. People from a lot of countries come and hear about Jesus in their own language. The Holy Spirit gives us power today, too!

- The Holy Spirit gives us power. Many times, kids feel powerless. They can’t always make the decisions they’d like to make. There may be situations in their lives that are out of their control, such as a friend moving, their divorce, or a loved one with a terminal illness. Help kids see that even though they sometimes feel powerless, the Holy Spirit gives them power to do amazing things.
