Kerry Bauman is the Lead Pastor of River Ridge Church. He grew up in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania and earned a degree in Sociology/Anthropology from Slippery Rock University. Kerry then joined Campus Crusade for Christ’s staff working with high school ministries in Chattanooga, TN, and Katy, TX. From there, he went on to pursue his Master’s of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, which he completed in 1993. He worked at Chain of Lakes Community Bible Church for 19 and a half years, serving first as their youth pastor and later as their senior pastor. In November 2017, Kerry finally pursued and fulfilled his dream of planting a church. His goal was to touch the lives of communities in Southeastern Wisconsin, which is how River Ridge came to be. Kerry has been married to his wife, Laurie, for 24 years, and they have 7 kids: Christopher, Katie, Jeanne, Tim, Courtney, Jordan, and Jeremiah. He also has 11 grandchildren with #12 on the way!
